The trainer actually put behaviours and cues that I may do myself and how I rationalise those but call out someone else for them. I will put this training into practice my making sure I dig deeper to understand the patient/family and others better without judging them first.

Ben was extremely welcoming and adjusted his way of teaching to everyone so every person understood throughoughly. He made what was a long day of teaching extremely fun and interactive for everyone. I throughly enjoyed today and would recommend Ben teaching again.

Informative and learnt a lot. Learnt about the arousal model which was very interesting. The session was very interactive which I liked. Also enjoyed the group tasks. Ben was great!

I really enjoyed learning about the setting events that could cause someone to escalate from their baseline. In turn then learning about the deescalation techniques that can be used to bring someone back to their baseline. This will really help me in practice.

Ben was very informative and engaging. He made me feel comfortable and welcoming. I learned a lot about de-escalation protocols and how to understand the deeper meanings of why people behave/act in a certain way. It has opened my eyes to be more open minded and mindful in the workplace. Thank you for everything Ben, hope I get you again in the next two courses!

I really enjoyed today’s session. I appreciated how interactive it was and how everyone had the chance to get involved. I learned some important values that I can apply both at work and at home. I liked the terminology seeking response and not attention seeking.
