Good that Cra8g used real world situations to get the key points across in relation to LD. Wish him well for the future in this area of vocational development.
Response : Thank you, Anthony. We appreciate your feedback and are pleased to hear Craig’s use of real-world examples supported your understanding of the key points.

The training was really beneficial, The Arousal Model. It teaches me that people tend to experience heightened baseline to express their feelings, and should be observing the cues to manage the situation by diversion and distraction before it escalated to from baseline to loss of control.

Having to stay while others refreshed their level 3 skills when some of us only needed up to level 2 was really frustrating. Also very frustrating to know that this will Be the case for all my team members when they attend, effectively losing valuable clinical time.
Response : Thank you, Marty. We appreciate your feedback and acknowledge your comments regarding the session structure. The RRN Level 2 and Level 3 elements are recommended to be delivered separately, and the course timings are set in line with current RRN training standards. Your feedback will be taken forward for organisational review.

Liam was a good trainer Not always entirely relevant as we are experiencing high levels of violence. Techniques should reflect this level more
Response : Hi Naomi. Thank you for your feedback. We’re pleased to hear you found Liam to be a good trainer. We appreciate your comments regarding the relevance of techniques in the context of higher levels of violence To further support staff in managing escalating behaviours, we would recommend attending the RRN Level 3 course (Day 3), which provides more in-depth teaching of physical skills and approaches tailored to higher-risk situations. We hope this will build on the foundation provided in today’s session and further support you in your role.

I felt the training was very informative, and it had given things for me to add to my practice however at times it felt repetitive and felt like it could’ve have been a shorter day which made my attention span lack at times. Overall it was a good day
Response : Hi Misturah. Thank you again for your valuable and appreciated feedback. We’re glad you found the training informative and that it provided ideas to support you within your role. We appreciate your note about some parts feeling repetitive; these elements are included intentionally as key points to reinforce learning and understanding. We value this feedback and will continue to use it to support ongoing course development and teaching. The course timings are set in adherence to the RRN training standards, but we will review your comments to see how we can accommodate this point and further support future sessions. Thanks again.
