Really good course trainer was excellent but some theory was quite repetitive
The slides were a little boring to sit through at the start, I would’ve preferred if this was a bit more engaging for example with discussions or something for more active listening. The children’s home aspects also weren’t relevant to us but all of the practical aspects were really helpful.

This course has been good and I have learned a lot which I will apply in my work going forward
Very informative, sometimes a little repetitive. Discussion around applying this more in practice might be useful. It will be great to feed this course back to my team
I did not feel that the morning session added much to level 1. I felt it could have been condensed into an 45/60 minute summary rather than the whole morning. However, the afternoon session was useful and informative. Ben was really forthcoming with answering questions and queries, and providing additional information. He was also respectful of people’s different physical needs and emotional/psychological triggers where relevant.

Good content, not always applicable to our type of service and needs, however think level 2 will be, as the how to de-escalate a situation, how to respond to cues will be helpful.
Found the afternoon excellent, morning was a bit lengthy and repeated a lot of info from level 1 which I did recently

Good pace and information but a long day for people used to moving
