I found it very informative and valuable. It gave me a much better understanding of how to spot the signs of someone feeling suicidal and gave me clear guidance on how to respond.

I would 100% recommend this to anyone. As someone who speaks to the public I have always been afraid of someone sharing they are feeling suicidal with me at work as I was completely unsure how to act or what to say but I now feel so much more confident and I have a tool kit with me on how to help that person and would quite welcome someone being brave enough to share that with me as I know I can support them now

The course content, albeit streamlined, was very informative and helpful and covered a wide range of topics related to the subject matter. Provoked a lot of thoughts and questions that made it a truly collaborative experience.

Jade was an absolutely fantastic course leader. The course was superbly presented, engaging, and gave me invaluable tools that I will directly carry forward on tour. Without Tonic, I simply would not have had the opportunity to take these courses, so a huge thank you for making this possible and for the vital, incredible work you do every day for the music community.

Before the training, I already felt confident about being direct when someone’s life might be at risk. I was not afraid to ask someone whether they were having thoughts of suicide, because my priority was to help keep them safe.

Having completed this training, I feel I have obtained the skills in actively listening to someone who may be having thoughts of suicide. The workbook is a handy tool for me to keep and refer back to if needed.
