Very informative course. I feel a lot more confident recognising signs that someone may be feeling suicidal and appropriate language to use. Also recognising the importance of first aiding the crisis rather than being responsible for solving all the problems or issues that person may be experiencing. Esther was very knowledgeable and the delivery was brilliant and encouraged group discussion and engagement
Really good at setting out the stakes of the crisis around suicidal behaviour, helpful ways of thinking and speaking about it, clear and practical approaches for meeting situations of this kind and ways to keep things in proportion when trying to deal with them.
This course was informative and laid out very well. The space very much felt safe for people to contribute honestly. I felt that I could ask questions without judgement. It didn't feel like too large of a group either.
Good energy and knowledge. Engaging trainer and safe honest environment to hold powerful discussions
Super practical and helpful content applied to realistic scenarios.
Karen was a great trainer who was able to support interaction challenge thoughts provoke ideas and gave very valuable tools and experience
Really interesting and thought provoking course - made me self reflect throughout on what I thought I knew about the topic. I feel much more equipped and confident for if this was a situation I find myself in.
Excellent course, well presented, informative and confidence building. Would highly recommend.
