Good , well rounded discussion that was informative, wish we could of completed all discussion but understand time can run quickly.
Feel in a better place about discussing suicide with someone. Before I only felt able to signpost to other services and would have been scared to talk to someone. It has helped me change my perspective of what someone with suicidal thoughts are thinking.
This is an invaluable course especially given how prevalent mental health is in society today. With the stress on mental health services, policing is at the forefront of dealing with people in crisis and this gives invaluable tools.
Good course good pace. I would only suggest that the group questions are reworded to be a little clearer, as we were slightly unsure of what we.needed to do.
It was thoughtful and well paced. It was especially good to have gage course led by someone with lived experience of suicide.
Not that confident although I was able to ask if they are thinking about it however I wanted to check the steps and processes are fluid although I was able to get the help they needed at the time. The person is thriving currently and really successful.
The course offers a lot to ingest. I think adding one hour to it will make the pace more user friendly.
The training was really good and I liked how th examples used were relevant to T&T even though it's an international training.
