The course has been valuable to me. As someone who works within postvention, our charity also acts as prevention so knowing how to confidently recognise and asked questions surrounding suicide is incredibly important. The course was set out very well, both engaging and informative

I think what was most striking for me was that listening and exploring was the most important step. I had always thought it was to recognize and ask and now knowing what I know, it means I must work extra hard to ensure that I listen and explore no matter how hard it is and how great my desire to help before jumping right into action.
