The trainers did their best, really good, couldn't imagined Reuben could deliver that way. I believe that training should have been online like tier 1, have hand-out to be able to go through later.

Too much information repeated and some of the wording was confusing. Had errors on the quiz that were caused by a glitch which I could not get rid of. Lost all my progress.

I just needed to be trained in one of the topics, in other topics , I am compliant . I don’t need to go in the hot weather to attend the whole course from 1:30 to 5:30pm. Nearly waste of time .

Trainer did not do proper registration for the 1/2 day course, I was waiting outside from 1:25 with no assistance or helpful information as the room was occupied and course running. Had to interrupt to get in and all chairs were taken, had to get my own. Lone working was not covered, and conflict resolution was not properly covered - no information regarding complaints handling. Trainer was mostly engaging and helpful, but not much other relevant information was provided - no proper slide presentation etc. Immediate life support not covered, only basic life support and nothing on anaphylaxis.

I’m pleased to have passed the safeguarding training, but I found the learning experience difficult and inaccessible as a neurodivergent learner. The training relied heavily on reading black text on a white background, with no option to listen to the content. This does not support different learning styles or accessibility needs. The information was also spread across multiple screens that had to be clicked through, which made it easy to unintentionally miss sections. At times this made the course feel confusing rather than supportive. I also learn best by being able to copy key information into my own notes so I can revisit and process it later. This was difficult and time-consuming to do within the training. Some of the quiz questions were also confusing or misleading. In one case, the question asked for two correct answers, but the answer options provided did not appear to include two clearly correct pieces of legislation. This made the quiz feel more like a test of interpreting unclear wording than a fair assessment of safeguarding knowledge. I would strongly recommend improving accessibility by offering audio narration, clearer page layouts, downloadable or copyable summaries, better signposting of sections, and clearer quiz questions with unambiguous answer options.

The tutor was tether Erato. In his teaching and he lost track a little during the course. The BLS practical was confusing as he had six students all at once doing the resuscitation. which didn’t work as some people got confused with the sequence of events.
