The professional learning on retrieval practice was really useful and practical. It reinforced how regularly recalling information, rather than simply rereading it, can help students retain knowledge and build stronger long-term learning. I particularly valued the clear strategies that can be used in everyday lessons, such as low-stakes quizzes, questioning and quick recall activities. It has given me some simple ideas to incorporate into my teaching and support students in becoming more confident and independent learners.
