Fab course! Really enjoyable two days, I feel it's made a difference to my entire outlook on presenting. Thanks to all the lovely staff at Happy who looked after us so well, and all the hard work and energy from Dez, which really clearly paid off when we did our final presentations yesterday.

Gill is a great trainer. I loved the conversational nature of the training - rather than someone just going through a powerpoint with you listening, we were able to ask questions and get live demonstrations. This was a really engaging way to train and it kept me interested throughout.

Gill was great. Very flexible to the mixed needs of the group. Covered the issues we have been experiencing without sticking too rigidly to the training list. The pace was good, just overran slightly but easily forgiven!

The content was clear and concise. It was also very interactive and we could go over topics that were unclear.

I have learned a lot today, I have done formulas on adding but not times or divide so it was something new.

I was pleasantly surprised to realise that I actually knew or innately understood a lot of what we covered. It has helped boost my confidence and I will further explore some of the things we've discussed eg coaching.

I would have liked to have had some space to think about managing your manager, and about performance management. However, I think all our time was very well used, so maybe they are for a longer course. Having lots of time together to discuss and for things to sink in worked really well. Paul's manner was great and really aided the feel of the session.

Thoroughly enjoyed this course. I it was unlike anything I'd done before. Initially I was dubious about the more conversation based practice, but actually it was the best possible way to do it as management is not one size fits all. So reassuring to speak to people in similar positions and realise the commonalities across the board. I felt very engaged the whole time. Wonderful facilitator who made everyone feel heard and offered suggestions whilst letting us lead the conversation. I like being called on to think and workshop ideas as it makes you think harder than if you were playing a more passive role. The style of training meant I had lots of realisations along the way and the skills learnt are adaptable to my personal situation.
