Paul did a great job at including everyone and explain at a gentle kind and friendly pace. I learnt a lot about myself and my style currently setting me up for the future sessions so I can grow.

Engaging session and mentally stimulating

The facilitator was amazing, impressive how they delivered the course single handledly, presenting slides, organising breakout rooms, keeping an eye on the group chat and 'lobby', readmitting people to the chat throughout the day. They were friendly, professional and inclusive. The course was engaging, and pitched at the right level and directly applicable to my work and annual appraisal objectives; i now have the tools that will help me realise the projects I've been asked to deliver. This will be one of few courses that I will go back to time and time again.

It was very difficult to do this course without the use of two screen. With two screens (which most people had) it would have been possible to see what the trainer was doing at the same time as filling in the demo worksheet. The trainer asked at the beginning whether everyone was comfortable with the basics. All were, which should have meant that the intermediate course was the natural next step. However the intermediate course was delivered quickly and although the trainer said that questions would be welcome, he got exasperated with the volume of questions from me and the other person who was working on one screen. I asked him to slow down a little and he said that he couldn't. At one point he suggested that the two of us would be better on a lower level course. I responded that it was an offensive thing to say and that we were asking questions because we wanted to learn. We all have different learning styles and a trainer should be aware of that.

Really insightful and thought provoking session. Time flew by and I felt totally engaged throughout - which is very unusual for me! thank you!
