I will only get to see how well things work in time but this has helped to build on some habits over the week like the pomodoro and 4 frogs. I think it's useful to only have a few techniques and try to get those repeated each day to build up a habit. I'm not sure it was possible for me to do that always given diary commitments like meetings and training for example that took time away from pomodoro and also "work" ironically! The use of break out rooms was really great to meet the other attendees and build up a rapid rapport with people - also a chance to learn from each other.

There is a lot to take in and the tutor did move at a quick pace but asked if we were resdy to move on so they sought agreement which was very good.

I didn't attend this session in person but I did work with my buddy to gather the information, resources and homework from the session and found that the session was all about the 'theory of change' and how to apply it in a work context to inprove your relationships, outcomes and results.

Really enjoyed the opportunity to discuss and network and share ideas and thoughts about what we were learning/discussing

It's only day 1 so it's early to give reflections overall but so far it has been interesting and I have enjoyed the pace and the set up of breakout discussions.

More of a check in than a session

The pace is faster than anticipated, which is not bad as I thought it would be too drawn out. The only element I would have liked more time given to is finance. Things like what to look out for on a budget and what they could mean for the business.

Overall, a very informative and interesting course. I could perhaps have done with the level before it, or perhaps even before that! But Ed made the content accessible and was happy to go over things until I had understood, processed and completed the task. The content was well thought out and planned, with excellent resources. I would have rated it a five star, but I needed a warm up exercise instead of coming into the training 'cold'. My personal learning style and needs mean that I work best when given time to reflect on the content, before going straight into it. I felt on the backfoot initially, whereas if I'd had a bit of reading or a video to watch or an exercise to complete, then that would have made me less initially scared. I don't work with Excel formulae every day, so it would have helped to remind me of how to do things too.
