The course was really useful. The course materials linked really clearly back to the arousal model which was really helpful in ensuring we understood the importance of antecedent manipulation, our primary and secondary strategies, and how it’s so important to know our learners. I really appreciated the level of theory which helped to foreground the practical elements of the training, and it was very clear it is used as a last resort. I felt able to ask as many questions as I wanted which was useful too.Response : Thank you for such a thoughtful and insightful reflection. i found it really interesting learning this course, the theory behind PBS really helped enrich my understanding of how to support in incidents. the physical interventions were explained and demonstrated really clearly, with in depth feedback. this course has been invaluable for bridging the gap of knowledge that i had from working at gretton, so i feel a lot more confident going into the next academic year
