I really enjoyed today's session; it was delivered calmly and at a comfortable pace. I was struggling choosing whether to attend this or the advanced session, as I'm already comfortable with conditional formatting and some formulas, but am glad I came to this one as it reinforced those areas and gave me additional knowledge around pivot tables, absolute cell referencing and summarising data across worksheets.

Jo was great - really friendly manner, capable and confident in delivery. Most activities and discussions helpful and to the point the only thing which was less good was the communication styles exercise - I felt we had been given a category which we couldn't fully understand in detail, given time constraints, and then asked to extrapolate our shared skills and weaknesses based on this - it felt slightly arbitrary and artificial and I wonder if it works in a day long session where there isn't sufficient time to go into it in the required depth?

I found the trainer extremely impressive and inspiring. He was kind, supportive and spoke with great conviction and authority. I loved listening to him and he made everyone feel able to contribute ideas and suggestions. I liked the use of breakout rooms and valued the opportunity to talk to the other participants as a pair or in a small group.

I really like the visuals at the start to support familiarity and connection between us all and wonder if perhaps a variation with the same purpose, for example a liberating structure approach, like Wild Tea could energize the group a little for another time
