Interesting a well run course, but we are a very diverse team so difficult to have a general training course to suit all of our different job types.
I found the metaphor of communication quite confusing to express and don't know if it utilsed the skills we were learning to the best that they could be. I found some people kept getting too hung up on this which impacted on the group activities.
Tutor rushed course and was quite abrupt bordering on rude when people misunderstood or got a bit lost
It was a great day. Very discussion based so could do with more hands on activities
It was a good day. Some of the activities felt a bit contrived. Particularly the drama free dialogue exercise. I would have preferred to have had a more free format to comment on anything we had seen in our group.
Enjoyable. Right group size for interactive training
Usually I hate the role plays/group speaking (as an introvert) but these were useful and less painful!
Unfortunately the course was limited in numbers, which whilst was unavoidable, the course structure and group activities may have worked better had there been a bigger group. The course was focused a lot on teams and there are a quite a few course members that don't manage more than one or two people. Overall the course was good and allowed us to reflect on our own practise and how we view both ourselves as managers and how we interact with those that we line manage.
The facilitator was able to work with each individual, especially since we were a small group. This was especially good as the prior knowledge levels of the students varied.
