It was interesting but was a lot to take in and felt very process driven and I'm not a very detail orientated person. I will spend some time reading through the workbook to try and digest it all
Well structured Lots of interaction with others Facilitated well to allow everyone in the group to contribute
The training pace was a bit too slow for our level and it was more recapping of the concept of formulas rather than how to use these formulas more efficiently on different scenarios
Got an opportunity to unwind my self and get away from mundane activity.
It was great - the only element I'd hope to find out was how to swiftly group 'open text' responses in surveys, where respondents will give similar answers, but in multiple ways, c/o spelling, grammar, spacing etc. But that's a different course, I suspect.
My main concern is the actual minute taking and I was hoping to gain some advice for this and ultimately feel more confident about taking minutes but I do not feel this was addressed. I also have issues about the sharing of documents whilst taking notes at the same time and the best way to share documents over Teams etc which is how meetings are mainly carried out now with COVID, I felt I contributed more than what I learned as the course heavily relies on participant input. However, it was very nice to meet and speak to other note takers and share thoughts as I have felt quite isolated before not having anyone to discuss this with.
The course felt somewhat patronising, some of it was fairly obvious at least to me. It would of helped if people not taking the course seriously were singled out as they were taking away from the experience with distractions or unnecessary remarks.
Useful comments and discussions. FOr me I am already using most of the techniques and am used to giving feedback and making difficult conversations
