I would like this instructor (Tre Smith) to teach me in my next class SEC+

Instructor taught thoroughly, offered to stay behind or come in early and even on a weekend. He is very professional and brings a lot of life experiences into what he teaches for a better understanding on how many of the objectives relate to real life scenarios.

It's a course that definitely enhances my MAR skills. I thought it was a bit rushed and we skipped a lot of concepts due to the time constraints, which is understandable.

Slides are wordy and use acronyms that require further research. I was able to find slides outside of class that explained the material much better. However, the lab practices and Comptia sites were very informative and useful.

There was just way too much information with this course to digest as a novice computer user in a two week span. If I pass this test it certainly wont be because I know what I'm talking about, it will be blind luck with a little bit of knowledge. This course is making me seriously consider dropping out of the entire program, as I'm seriously questioning my aptitude for the information and don't want to waste the VA educational benefit on something I cant comprehend.

A bit of a rush of information within 2 weeks but the professor(Alexis Valencia) made it manageable within the time frame to the best of his ability.

We literally just read straight from the powerpoint and lessons slides. I could easily do that on my own and did not receive any real world training out of this course.

In my opinion there is too many link to other websites. I feel the content needs to be in one solid area for student can easily navigate to course content. Often at times I was lost as what I needed to study. More structure is needs. Reviewing the content from the day before would work wonders.
