The self-paced study materials and labs are not advertised very well for this course. This is more of a bootcamp style course that may not completely cover a comprehensive understanding of Security +. The material would be ingested better with a 4-week format.
The teacher was great, i had no problems, however the course focuses on the definitions contrary to learning understanding so when you get a question that's like "Which of the following is a reason an organization might want to adopt ITIL best practices?" it doesn't make sense, also 6 days of education is a incredibly short time spam for a beginner like myself. and certain questions on tests are too work specific as someone who has various mental disabilities to becomes to specific to keep track
I wish aci put time between classes to possibly take our cert
This course contained tons of information. Much of the information found in this course is covered in previous courses.
Overall, the course is not that bad but it's just a lot of PDF reading when actually in the class and i would rather spend more time doing actual activities and luckily Craig does try and bring a balance to this to where it's not all just PDF and when he is reading the PDF he uses real examples and shows us what is being referred to.
Good class, instructor kept class lighthearted and made it easy to stay engaged, even on days I just wasn't mentally there.
Highspeed; low drag...
The instructor is awesome. The material for the course and the structure of the material need to be revisited for accuracy and continuity.
