A bit of a rush of information within 2 weeks but the professor(Alexis Valencia) made it manageable within the time frame to the best of his ability.
We literally just read straight from the powerpoint and lessons slides. I could easily do that on my own and did not receive any real world training out of this course.
Its a lot for someone with no computer background in too little time give me one more week and id be comfortable
In my opinion there is too many link to other websites. I feel the content needs to be in one solid area for student can easily navigate to course content. Often at times I was lost as what I needed to study. More structure is needs. Reviewing the content from the day before would work wonders.
Course was good. Wish the PMPism's were went over first so that we could have been in a better mind set throughout the class rather than at the end. We did have the opportunity to view them ourselves but having the instructor explain them was much more helpful. I would have liked to seen the additional resources much sooner in the beginning of the class. PMI, projectmanagement.com, ritas test. However, they were given and are very helpful. I learnt most of this information in college. The class was a blasting refresher that brought back some lost techniques that I had forgotten. The instructor did a great job at making sure questions were answered so that everyone could understand them.
Very fast-paced, lots of information to retain in a short amount of time. The instructor was excellent with lectures and real world examples, but with so much information, the extra study time I spent every day helped to better understand the information. I did however have many issues with new lab and would recommend to have softwares and features as such to be thoroughly tested before provided to students. It was frustrating but expect to spend 2+ extra hours every day to study and complete the labs.
The course is extensive and probably covers everything you would need to know to pass the exam. However, for someone who is not already working in the industry, it is just too much information to cover in only 10 classes.
The instructor is a good teacher however the material was not effectively communicated and students who have no knowledge about the topic most likely struggled as i did
The instructor was very knowledgeable, but the class overall was overly condenced even after taking multiple class prior.
