Completely new to this line of work and sector..given a great introduction with Lee . Made things simple to take in and enjoyable to learn. Identified things I had never thought of in care

Lee provided detailed, relevant and engaging content, supported by his own anecdotal expertise and the seminal theories. He considered the differing learning needs of the different participants and made sure everyone was confident at each stage before proceeding.

Aleks delivered the course to a very high standard . I was impressed with her knowledge!

Generally I felt the course was too weighted towards responding to undesired behaviour. There was little or no content about what to do when children are behaving well. Although we need strategies to deal with undesired behaviour one of the biggest tools we have to improving behaviour is creating the right culture and a key time to do that is when pupils are doing what we want them to do. A little too much time was spent on the details of legal frameworks. At the end of the day a summary of legal rights, responsibilities and protections are all we need to know; the detail of each piece of legislation is overloading. A little more time on physical aspects would have been good; a few more repetitions of each movement.

It was clear and fun. Eye opening and it will improve how I provide service. The material was easy to understand and well explained. The trainer gave scenarios that made itsimple.
