As a novice to first aid I found that Andy brought me into his world, brought the subject to life and gave the confidence and the approach to put things into practice should the occasion arise. He concentrated on the theory and made sure we had a thorough understanding in a way that was real and I could relate to. We had plenty of hands on practice to consolidate things and help retain what we'd been told and shown. Some of the written assessment questions were difficult to understand but I've done a enough exams through the years so managed to get through them.

I did not actually take part in the training but the feedback from staff who also completed the evaluation form is summarised below; 1. Course content and material was very good and the trainer was knowledgeable. 2. Trainer arrived 30 minutes late and finished 30 minutes earlier than expected. 3. Staff members felt uncomfortable with certain aspects of the training with the trainer as he was using inappropriate language.........please see evaluation forms. 4. I have used Green Cross Training on a few previous occasions and the trainers have always been really good, so its a shame I have not had all positive feedback!

Daniel presented the course very well, he ensured we understood all the information involved and made it fun too. We left the course with the knowledge and skills needed to carry out our roles as Fire Marshals.

I found the mhfa course very interesting and feel very passionate about helping to maintain a healthy work atmosphere

I have been told by delegates: The course was well run and the information given was equally shared over the 3 days, didn't feel overloaded with learning. The guy who ran the classes was very thorough with information given and made the sessions fun and easy.

Brilliant, all participants really enjoyed the contents of the course. The only feedback we have received is that there is too much information for only 3 days, an extra day would allow more time to practise and digest the information.

Sarah was wonderful with the pupils. She had a weaker ability group and coped well with their needs. She made the course engaging and her humour was great. My recommendation would be based on Sarah and her delivery.
