I found the FAAW course book provided very good, I will keep it at hand and use as a reference document to prevent skill fade, rather that the large FA Handbook issued by the HSE. The Trainer Neil Murray was very good indeed has a very good clear voice. His personal delivery of the prescribed course content using the Greencross Powerpoint slides was great keeping me interested in the course throughout. It would have been good if the Hotel offered a wider selection of basic food for lunchtime. The on tap drink facilities were good and when the machine failed staff provided excellent costa coffee service.

Great intro to suicide interventions - really engaging trainer (I missed his surname so guessed on the form, it was Ross with the beard!) Felt like it struck a nice balance between looking at the wider issue in the UK, giving an understanding of underlying causes/barriers to seeking help, and practical instructions for how to frame a conversation with someone you're worried about Only improvement I can think of is it would have been great to get a link to some of the sources mentioned, e.g. academics or organisations.
