The slides were a little boring to sit through at the start, I would’ve preferred if this was a bit more engaging for example with discussions or something for more active listening. The children’s home aspects also weren’t relevant to us but all of the practical aspects were really helpful.

It's been a great interactive course. It reminds and make me reflect a lot on the daily work. And Ben has been very patient on discussing a lot of detailed individual issues that we raised. Loads of discussions on views and updated practice. And the breakaway skills are so much more useful. Overall, it is a worthwhile course to be in.

Great course and it has opened up a lot of information for me
Very friendly training provider. Ben taught me useful skills that can definitely be implemented in my job role. The breakaway techniques were delivered in an easy to understand way and I now feel safer both at work, and going about my everyday life. The course was delivered with compassion and with appropriate scenarios and stories which helped deeper understanding.

Fantastic course. Ben explained things brilliantly and made things fun to learn. Both days went so quickly. I haven't enjoyed a training session this much before. Lots of good information to take back to my job role.
Ben was a fantastic trainer. I really gained a lot from this course. I understand behaviours on a completely different level than I have ever before. He was also not afraid of a debate and finding understanding around questions being asked. He would challenge certain questions and really make you think about what you asked which then led to a different outcome the initial question. Impressive guy with so much experience that really gets you involved and interested with his life experience.
This course has been good and I have learned a lot which I will apply in my work going forward
