AI summary of reviews

Consistently knowledgeable, approachable trainers are the provider’s standout strength, with attendees valuing clear explanations, real-world examples, patience and support that build confidence. They find the teaching engaging and practical, supported by labs, videos, quizzes and flexible online resources, and say the learning strengthens certification readiness, troubleshooting skills and job searches. Career guidance, including CV, LinkedIn and interview advice, also proves useful. Some feel the accelerated timetable and lab/platform design leave too little time for hands-on practice.

Wish we had classroom time to do labs and complete assessment

In my opinion this class was not as what i expected. if the instructor is going to read from a powerpoint and give me material already available (professor messer videos and study guides, etc...) that i can find on my own on youtube for free and it does exactly what the instructor does, then it makes me question what is the purpose of the class and why do i need to pay actual money for it.

A lot of the lectures didn't teach us how to do things in the labs

I wished we would focus on one thing at a time not just read a definition and move on.

The powerpoints provided by ACI are not pertinent. I have learned more from Professor Messer and the CompTIA learn courses than I have from the powerpoints. They are not even reviewed when I study. These provide a crutch for the instructor to go off of and just causes them to read it. There is no expanded information such as drawn examples or useful and logical comparisons. The instructor simply reads the slides and then ends the class. We are asked many times if we have questions and on every slide I have a question because there is not enough explanation or information, just a word and its definition. If I were to ask my questions, we would not complete the material in time.

I'm just going to harp on the course presentation. 12 years in the military and I have never seen such a dependence on PowerPoint. I realize we are in a pandemic, however, that doesn't mean you should pick at the lowest hanging fruit (ex...PP) for educational disbursement.

This course definitely needs more time. The two-week sprint front loads all the lectures.

good class but a bit dry. Instructor did a good job linking concepts.

There was a lot of disruptions with certain students in the class. Either asking questions about their exercise equipment and unrelated subjects and the instructor spent much time talking about. Also, many students used the chat feature as social talking and jokes and it was very interruptive and distracting.
