The Network + course is fast paced. The learning materials are great. However, there needs to be more explanation for the content. There is a lot of content that I personally felt overwhelmed and could not "put the pieces together", as a new user trying t get the certification. This is not a reflection of my instructor Mr. Bennett as he is great! The course learning plan needs to be revisited by the course designer. For example there were three chapters that were assigned for the students to complete without the instructor presenting the materials in this course. Mr. Bennett caught this and went over these chapters. Great Job to Mr. Bennett!! He is an instructor that really seems to care.

Sean Callinan is a performance-centric instructor. He provides many opportunities for review and refinement as well as made complicated subjects digestible. The provided slides and notes did little in the way of understanding the material in self-study without having an instructor/mentor like Sean expand upon them.

This class can be easily be 3 to 4 weeks because there is a lot of material. Many days felt like information overload.

When signing up for this class I was worried about it being online and accelerated. It's been very challenging for me with no experience not sure how I will do moving forward. The labs and lecture seem to be different curriculum's. In labs I have a hard time figuring them out because I've never tried or been shown how to troubleshoot scenarios. Instructor does help when asked to repeat but stuff but so much material needs to be pushed out I'm finding it hard to grasp the curriculum fully.

Overall, it was a good training but some of the portion can be further enhanced as it centrally focus on General IT Controls and Application Controls. Also, I think further discussion before the training to set the course topic, our IT environment, etc. can enhance the learning and topic discussions.

The instructor did the best he could given the time and material given. The syllabus homework did not match up with the material covered for the day which added confusion and inefficient time for studying. The time allowed for covering the material was very limited. The course should have been longer to allow more time for absorption and proper assimilation of the material. Also, the videos in the course material were different than the labs given which added a level of discontinuity that made understanding the processes more inefficient and harder to comprehend. It was an overload of information and I did not really understand any of it. I felt very overwhelmed during this entire course.
