Pace of the course was good and broken up sufficiently so it wasn't too overwhelming.
The course was set at a decent pace with no overload of information. Darren is clear, calm and consistent in his teaching, gives good eye contact and perfectly models active listening.
Interesting course and brought awareness and confidence in being able to openly say this to someone I was worried about Also didn’t know someone more likely to die who doesn’t intend to as result of less support for them
This was an eye opener and confidence builder.
I have enjoyed the course and think there has been good group participation. I have made note of some support groups/numbers that I have not heard of before, that i will be able to include in some of my paperwork
It was a good course. Hard going but hopefully would equip us better for those that need us whether it’s a member of public or colleague.
In the world as it is today people are really experiencing a lot of fear, anxiety, hopelessness and despair. This training program is very timely. Although I have been involved in active social Ministry for many years I would not have had the necessary skills to help someone contemplating suicide before today. I feel much more confident now.
Insightful - will rebook at terminology we use on the website (I.e commit and replace with death by).
