Great courses feel more empowered now in looking and acting on preventing suicide

since the training i feel alot less worried and uncertain about working with those experiencing suicidal thoughts. it raised my awareness around language and causes as well as informing us what to do and say to the person

Very good course, I gained a lot and more understanding of this subject.

Although a difficult topic, it was well presented and executed. Enjoyed the level, the interaction and Berni was the perfect tutor/trainer. I felt safe with her and in the environment. My only wish would have been to do the full day course - however this was great introduction.

Very pleased with the course and the trainer today, who delivered it with great competency.

I really enjoyed the day, meeting Chris and the other delegates. It was a highly informative course and I found it useful to hear other delegates comments and questions. The role play was helpful and interactive, while the breakout sessions gave me ideas and language to use which I will put to use in some of my sessions.

I was apprehensive about the course given the subject, but Katie made the course easy to follow and understand and facilitated excellent discussion points.

Enjoyed the training and it was safe to be a peer in there, was one of the reasons why I picked grassroots.
