The course is very dense and sensitive, however the trainers have been able to lighten the weight and gravity of the course to enable the participants to appreciate and have the courage to fully understand the importance of this dreaded subject with sympathy, empathy and with compassion.
The course has improved my knowledge on suicide first aid. As a first responder it has given me more confidence and a plan of what to do and say to someone feeling suicidal.
