I feel I could have a more comfortable discussion with someone who is in a position where they are at harm of themselves, I now feel I know how to guide this conversation.

I had some confidence that I could handle a situation like someone wanting to take their own life, but this course and Shian’s excellent delivery has given me 100% confidence.

I think today’s training really opened my eyes to what skills I have and what resources I can recommend it has also really opened my eyes to the lack of knowledge in the business I work for and will indeed take the training away to ensure our staff have the adequate training.

I have had training with Kevin before and remembered a lot of what he had taught me which gave me the confidence to apply this in my role as Wellbeing Mentor. It was great to have a refresh.
