I have already used some of the skills learned on this course in my every day work. Particularly around how I encourage managers to reflect on how we use direct questioning and specific language when opening up a dialogue with people around their mental health, to create a safe and authentic space to talk. Thank you!Response : That's great, Emma thank you for sharing this and thank you for your feedback.

Was a good session but I do feel that doing it online is not as good as face to face. There were so many tech issues it must have made it really challenging for some people. It would also have been good to have seen the tutor model some of the things we were talking about. Some of us felt a little lost at times when in break out rooms.

It was a very interesting training and I learned a lot about the steps that should be taken if ever these type of issue arise in work or in my daily life with others. I was surprise that some steps that may seems extremely uncomfortable are actually the one that we should be taking to ensure we are assisting the person in need at our best.

I feel confident in working with individuals that feel suicidal after completing the course and believe I can put my knowledge into practice.

Really enjoyed the training and feel more confident on knowing what to say to clients who have suicidal thoughts, feel confident to bring the conversation up and ask clients if they have any suicidal thoughts.
