Steve delivered this course so well. I was able to ask Steve questions confidently and he gave good answers but being sensitive to my experience, opinions and feelings at the same time. Thank you Steve for delivering such a sensitive subject so well.

I just wished that I would have had this course 20+ years ago, when my partner took his life. I would have had more understanding, know what questions to ask and not being made to feel guilty. I thought the course was thorough and flowed making it easier to have the understanding and how to ask the appropriate questions

I really enjoyed the session today as I learned a lot about how to respond in a situation if someone felt suicidal. I feel more confident and comfortable if someone would tell me that they feel suicidal. I enjoyed the workbook that we had as well that made us more engage with the course.

This has been the most interesting and useful training I have done for a long time. Alison is a fantastic facilitator who kept our attention and interest for the whole time. She kept it buoyant:)

Excellent training day. I feel well equipped to deal with young people who are having suicidal thoughts or who intend to end their lives by suicide.

Despite realising how beneficial the course could be I was not particularly looking forward to it. However the day flew by. Alison was very engaging and clearly immensely experienced. I now feel able to broach the subject of suicide and have strategies and dialogue to practice so I feel more confident and be in a better position to offer support.
