A well run course with a good flow of information and discussion.
Easy to understand course that had a good balance of weight, seriousness, and empathy.
Good training. It will be very useful in my line of work and has given me a good understanding of the signs to look for and how to have important conversations around suicide
The suicide prevention training was informative, engaging, and valuable. It increased my understanding of the importance of recognising warning signs, approaching conversations with empathy, and responding appropriately when someone may be struggling. I particularly appreciated the practical guidance and emphasis on listening without judgement and knowing when and how to seek further support. The training has increased my confidence in responding sensitively and appropriately in situations where someone may need help. Overall, I found the session very useful and believe the knowledge and skills gained will be valuable in both professional and everyday situations.
Super glad i did this course and will be looking to improve my knowledge regularly thank you
I’ve had to speak with a friend regarding suicide, I gave answers, maybe wrong ones but I’ve learned strategies today which could help in the future
An excellent course delivered by a very skilled trainer who possessed excellent interpersonal skills and a willingness to infuse the course with relevant lived experience. Appropriate pace and clear information and supporting resources. I really enjoyed the training.
I feel the no above is unfair but I was confident and trained before. Darren was really good and a great reminder of what I know.
I highly recommend this course to anyone who is further looking to expand the understanding suicide and how to support people who are experiencing it
