Shindi was engaging as a tutor. She clearly had a lot of experience and expertise and was also mindful of how the group was feeling and the potential effects the training might have on us emotionally as individuals.

some of slides seemed surplus such as the intention vs outcome, and the jigsaw slide was a little unclear. Although i would not want to spend longer on zoom, i feel there is more to learn but in person. It has helped me think about how prevalent suicide is and how direct i need to be to deal. I also like Shindo's personal stories.

Enjoyed the course not so great having it online but that is just how things are at the moment.

It's a useful course that fits a lot in, in a way that feels you've learned a lot but isn't too overwhelming

The content of the course was very interesting and allowed for a lot of conversations. I have learnt a lot

I enjoyed the training and found it engaging even thought I felt it was not really of a suitable level for me as I work with suicidal clients day in day out I felt I knew most of what discussed I already knew. I would recommend this course to anyone who has not done any training in this area before though and felt it was very well delivered.

I feel far more confident to approach a conversation with a suicidal person and support them through the process. I feel that the first section around suicide could have been condensed. This would have left more time to expand on the suicide safety guide - 3 steps. Possibly analysing case studies or videos in small groups and how we would respond to these situations.

I thought the training was very good and very useful.
