RRN Level 3: Restrictive Physical Intervention reviews

4.9 (6,245 reviews)
AI summary of reviews

Practical, safety-focused learning is the course’s defining strength: attendees say it links clear theory on positive behaviour support, de-escalation, law, dignity and least-restrictive practice to step-by-step demonstrations, realistic scenarios and repeated practice. They value knowledgeable, patient and approachable trainers who use humour, lived experience and feedback to keep demanding subjects engaging, inclusive and easy to understand. The well-organised sessions build confidence that transfers directly to supporting children, patients and service users at work, although some find the theory lengthy.

I really enjoyed the training, Jamie really knew what he was on about with the theory work and the RPI. It was nice too hear stories off things in play so i knew how it goes into practice.

10/10 Jamie has been very knowledgeable and had adapted to the school setting as Sherwood can also include the Health & Social Care side of things - Dan has also been brilliant with putting in his input and helping others when Jamie has been occupied. Was both brilliant at being serious when serious is needed and light-hearted when needed so. Quality trainers.

It’s great to know Jamie adapted the learning effectively to your school setting, while Dan’s input and support contributed to an engaging and collaborative environment. Found the course really interesting. Jamie was very engaging and informative. As was Dan. They worked really well together. There wasn’t a question they couldn’t answer and made me feel totally involved.

It’s great to know Ben’s delivery supported your learning and confidence, while reinforcing the safe and appropriate application of the practical elements should they ever be required.

The course was fantastic, it went over 3 days which were the first 3 days back at work. Ben worked really hard in keeping our attention and making the course enjoyable. We met Andy on the last day and he was great too.

I really enjoyed the course. The trainer was knowledgeable and made the 3 days as fun as possible and kept us engaged. I feel I have learnt a lot and would be confident using the techniques in work.

The course was very helpful and made me feel more comfortable with how to deal with situations as they become more intense. The descriptions of techniques were very helpful and easy to understand.
