Hannah was an incredible trainer, very very knowledgeable with answers and guidance to any question thrown at her. The course focussed a lot on theory which is really helpful.

Hannah delivered the course effectively and in a way that was very informative. Answered all questions asked and ensured that everything was understood before moving on to the next part of the course. I feel very confident in what I have learnt during the course.

I thought the course was excellent overall - content, resources, trainer/delivery, relevance, usefulness - all excellent. So much simpler and easier to learn than the likes of TEAM TEACH and the balance of theory and practical really supported the ethos of minimising restrictive practice. Hannah’s delivery is superb, a great balance of lightness and seriousness, which I feel allowed her to engage attendees that were anxious and previously hesitant. In terms of what can be improved, the presentation is a bit sterile/flat with a heavy emphasis on text. Many people in this industry are visual learners and the abundance of text, along with graphics that are very similar throughout makes it difficult to distinguish one slide from another and retain/recall that info. Varying that and introducing more graphics would really help (I think). Whilst I feel the model is so much more usable and applicable that TEAM TEACH, the flip side of being simpler (and less comprehensive) is that I’m left wondering if it covers all bases. I’m hopeful that’s because it’s the first time I’ve done it though and I just need to let it bed in.
