RRN Level 3: Restrictive Physical Intervention reviews

4.9 (6,268 reviews)
AI summary of reviews

Practical, safety-focused learning is the course’s defining strength: attendees say it links clear theory on positive behaviour support, de-escalation, law, dignity and least-restrictive practice to step-by-step demonstrations, realistic scenarios and repeated practice. They value knowledgeable, patient and approachable trainers who use humour, lived experience and feedback to keep demanding subjects engaging, inclusive and easy to understand. The well-organised sessions build confidence that transfers directly to supporting children, patients and service users at work, although some find the theory lengthy.

Amy was very welcoming and made me feel comfortable within the group immediately. The course was presented in an engaging way and I felt that I learnt a lot. Everyone was encouraged to take part in discussions and use their prior knowledge to explore different situations. I thoroughly enjoyed the training and after attending many different sessions over my years in teaching this is not something I often say. The course was relevant and helpful.

The 3 days was very interactive and well taught. The trainer was detailed in the theory and practical sessions. I believe this course will strengthen my skills and experience as a support worker by effectively managing behaviours of concern

The training was very effective as it helped me to see that the use of primary strategies are more effective in the response to behaviour or concern and I will aim to use least restrictive option more often
