This course has given me tools to help keep the client & myself safe. It has made me think about ways to de-escalate a behaviour prior to it becoming stage 4. The training was engaging & the trainer was really energetic & enthusiastic. This made me retain the information better.

I wanted to say how much I enjoyed today’s training. You were incredibly engaging, welcoming and energetic from the start. You built rapport with the group really quickly and created a space that felt safe and inclusive, which made it much easier for everyone to get involved. Liam was really knowledgeable and experienced, and the examples he used genuinely brought the learning to life. The recap of the theory was explained really well, with a strong focus on least restrictive and rights-based approaches, which felt meaningful. I especially appreciated the focus on trauma-informed support and how this links to understanding behaviour. That part really stood out and felt relevant to practice. The practical elements were also very strong and probably the most realistic and useful RRN training scenarios I’ve had. They felt purposeful and directly applicable. Overall, it was a great day. Liam managed to keep a large group engaged and on track while covering a lot of content in a way that didn’t feel overwhelming. I’m leaving feeling more confident and refreshed in my understanding Liam was excellent!
