Good course useful for de-escalation and safety in the Emergency Department

The course gave a great insight into de escalation. Knowing what the patient like and favourite thing to do will initiate the trust and connection with the patient. Very engaging. Trainer name: Kirstie Reynolds

Kirstie is a lovely teacher and is a credit to Sherwood! A very engaging and interesting session which will be very useful to take back to a busy admitting surgical unit. My first experience in breakaway techniques which I feel will be very valuable within my ward. Thank you! Looking forward to Day 3! ✨Response : Thank you Vicky for your kind comments. It is great to hear you enjoyed the delivery of training by Kirstie and course and this will valuable within your role. We will ensure to share your feedback onto Kirstie.

Thank you so much Kirstie- today has been very insightful and valuable. This training will have a significant impact on my practice as a nurse in ED, it will help to feel more confident in difficult situations at work and out of work too! The real life examples from Kirstie were helpful to put things into perspective and context. Thank you, if only all staff in ED could have this training it would make a huge difference to staff morale, and confidence
