The trainer is highly competent and engaging. Except that the sound system wasn't good enough. That wasn't the fault of the trainer. The venue was a bit of a let down though. They insisted on one drink per person which is inconsiderate bearing in mind we were here pretty much the whole day. Also, the hotel's assistant was not friendly
Martin, the trainer was extremely knowledgeable with a wide and varied background in the health sector, which I feel is essential for training of this type. He encouraged interaction and gave real life examples to assist understanding. The room and Equipment was adequate however despite a hot weather warning and temperatures being approximately 25° or above there were no fans and the air conditioning was not working. This caused an uncomfortable environment. Martin requested fans which were brought in after lunch. I have attended training with health and safety for many years but this is the first time I have seen marketing videos added to the session which I do not agree is appropriate.
