The course was good but feel some adjustment could be made.

I was a bit disturbed by the information relayed to us by the course tutor when talking about radicalisation. She told the class that radicalisation was the far right? I was waiting for the lady to finish the sentence with something like “ and also the far left” or explaining it didn’t have to be political , that it could be religious etc . This was not forthcoming ? I found this bizarre.? I questioned the lady and asked what about other forms of radicalisation. She closed her hands and said such as? Before I could answer, she said do you mean religious? I said “no, not just religious but any form of extremist ideology, for instance the far left”She then replied yes ,but they all fall under and descend from extreme far right. I was absolutely flabbergasted…….. I found Karen engaging but and very knowledgeable in other areas. I do feel like this needs to be highlighted today. It was unhelpful to understanding the broad spectrum of radicalisation and picking out one unit as the culprit for it all …. In all honesty, it was slightly bizarre.

Students should be able to go back to review their answers before final submission and also a page displayed to view your work after marking to identify the questions you answered incorrectly with the correct answers provided and explained before retaking assessment. Did not understand why I had to retake the same questions on three occasions when I was totally convinced all my answers should have been right. This notwithstanding, the course content is detailed and very informative.
