Alan is an excellent trainer with different strategies to help you remember information. He definitely helped me to understand elements that I didn't previously.
After attending the course I have come away very happy. The trainer, Peter Slater, made the course easy to understand and brought the subject matters to life. I would highly recommend anyone looking to sit the exams to take this course as the quality of the training and the knowledge is brilliant. I look forward to doing the CeMAP 2&3 course in the next couple of weeks.

Excellent week in all, facilities, course content and trainer could not have been any better. Alan downing made the course enjoyable and the content of cemap 1very learnable putting everyone at ease and having time for everyone in making sure every person grasped and understood all that needed to be.
Its a slightly unusual but very effective teaching style. It helps that he has previous practical experience in the industry as he can relate the course material to real life situations which makes understanding and learning of the course far easier.
My first experience using simply Academy and wasn’t disappointed one bit! Our tutor Alan Downing provided an excellent week of learning that made the course material easy to remember and understand. I completed the course on 10th November and took the test today November 13th and scored a distinction and a merit and certainly wouldn’t of been able to pass this with out Alan’s tutorship!

Excellent Course, the teacher (Peter Slater) was fantastic, really helped me understand the course material. I did CeMAP 1 with Peter and made sure I got on a course for CeMAP 2 where he was teaching.
Having completed my CeMAP 1 with Terry yet again he didn't fail to disappoint on all levels. With his outstanding guidance and teaching methods I am confident going into my exams this week of passing the required standard. I would not hesitate in recommending both company and trainer.
What a fab 5 day course! Terry is the perfect trainer. He makes learning fun and informative simultaneously. His knowledge of the mortgage market is second to none. His enthusiasm is infectious. He is incredibly helpful in ensuring that you fully understand each aspect of specific areas of the course before moving on to the next subject.
