I was really worried about attending at first as this subject is close to home. But I was made to feel at ease almost instantly. Such a lovely lady who runs this course. This is one of the most valuable courses I have ever attended. Helen and Heidi both showed so much care and compassion in both the subject matter and for us. I came out of the course knowing now what my role is in these situations and feeling more confident to just be myself and not to worry about saying the wrong thing. This was a great bit of training - I am already a MHFA and Grief First Aider, so while I have a foundation of this topic, this training built nicely on top of this and gave me so much more to think about and implement!
