I found having to do the modules and reading the MHFA manual thought provoking - in a good way - brought to life issues, terminology, approaches etc that I would have not considered before. It was humbling that some colleagues felt safe to open up about personal issues and this made certain points of the learning clearer to understand. Great instructors in Paul & Debbie who also stressed the importance of our own safety throughout the training.

I really enjoyed the course, there were some triggers for myself and I did at first think I wouldn't be able to complete the course. But Steve was great at getting information across in an interesting way, while getting us all interacting with one another. Also I'm so grateful he shared his experiences because it made the course less daunting and more interesting. With the way he taught the course it made it easier for me to be able to handle my triggers and complete the course, and I'm very proud of myself this achieve that. So thank you again
