Really good sessions, thank you. Only issue was length of time of the preparatory modules- a heads up as to how long they would take would be useful, just to plan workload.

For a course which covers a variety of topics which can be quite emotive, I felt it was very well balanced. The instructors embodied the principles of MHFA in their delivery and interactions with course attendees. They are very knowledgeable, understanding, and kind. They outlined expectations, outcomes, and course structure ahead of and at the beginning of the course; they stuck to this and were reliable in the delivery. They made the training feel manageable and I do feel an increased level of confidence in my ability to assist people who may be suffering from mental health issues. The course has also made me reflect on everyday interactions and conversations, and I am able to make adjustments in these to be a more compassionate communicator. Thank you!

This course was extremely eye opening and challenged a lot of fixed ideas about mental illness that I didn't know that I had. I feel significantly more prepared to face difficult conversations and more able to signpost people to professional and informal support.
