Alastair did a fantastic job of leading the course especially on a difficult video call format. Notification of the training and materials in advance was however problematic as not brought to our attention that there was a workbook till morning of training and that there was two halves over two days for the training. However course materials and training were all of high quality standard.

I would have appreciated more time to reflect and discuss after the practice sessions on the last day. Time was very short and i felt that this part of the course was quite rushed through to give everyone a go. Personally,I would have preferred face to face learning and debriefing. Due to COVID it was all via Zoom, the first time i had ever used Zoom so learning in itself ! However, i was not able to see everyone all at once and this was difficult.

stress debrief is in preliminary phase and can be defined as abstract to begin with. In its true sense of its objective, it will be very effective, provided adequate and appropriate resourced. In current climate where resource is much restricted hence the primary cause and effect of most incidents (and hence the stress), the question is " is this highly resource driven debrief process feasible?" and " can the resource used in stress debrief be justified as being efficient and cost effective Vs other [process/performance debrief session which may be compromised given we have limited resources"?
