Overall today emphasised/reminded me of the importance in coaching of emotional intelligence, actively listening and how to communicate effectively. I intend to apply the learning from today by ensuring when I next have a coaching style conversation at work or I am asked for advice/support/direction I will focus more on listening effectively and that my body language is all positive and I am not letting other circumstances distract me from the other individual and that my attention/presence is with them as fully as possible.
