A vital course, not just for use at work, but for using in every day life with friends/family/local community. What could be more important than being there for someone when they are at such a low ebb, and giving them hope.

Very pleased that I had the opportunity to attend this very well presented course. I must add that the tutor was good in encouraging us to be bold (but caring, of course) if we find ourselves in a situation where someone may be thinking of self-harm, not to hold back in using the word suicide if we think this could be in the person's mind.

I was rather nervous and unsure at the start of the course but very quickly I felt reassured and would recommend our tutor Alison very highly.
