I will feel more confident in attending incidents of attempts of suicide within my role and how to navigate through them. It will also give me the confidence to not try to manage the situation if I feel that the person is safe to remain at home following our intervention

I enjoyed this very sensitive course and it has given me more confidence to recognise individuals who may be thinking about suiciding, and suicide behaviours. The course enabled me to think about the language used and the stigma attached to this -for example 'commit suicide' that I will aim not use again.
