MD was amazing at delivering the course, it was engaging and interactive. MD made sure to frequently check in with us to make sure we were all ok.

Madhuri has been an amazing tutor and she made the whole group feel empowered to respond and participate. The session was very eye opening and have helped me to think about suicide in a completely different way.

I found the course really beneficial. M.D was great she was very engaging . I liked that the course was a lot of discussion and not PowerPoint heavy . It was great we got to do role plays and practice as this is a new area for me so have not dealt with these types of calls before . M.D checked on our wellbeing throughout which was great . It’s really got me thinking now about the language used when talking about suicide and I feel more resourceful when dealing with these types of calls .

The entire session was amazing! I appreciated how you interacted with us, consistently trying to create a positive atmosphere by checking in and ensuring we were okay. I understand that suicide training can be daunting and overwhelming, but you made it feel comfortable and thorough.

I feel like this course has provided some great insight into suicide prevention and the importance of taking action and offering support for those having suicidal thoughts. One of my key takeaways from this is how to approach the conversation with someone who may be feeling suicidal. I feel I am more comfortable with being able to ask direct questions whilst still being empathetic to ensure I am able to support appropriately.

The course was extremely useful and thought-provoking. The tutor was very good at explaining the content and ensuring that there was a clear focus throughout whilst consistently checking that everyone was okay as the topic was heavy and something that can easily upset.
