Heavily focused on mentoring with some great techniques

Jason was my favourite trainer so far. He was very patient and explained things clearly and linked to assignment as well as picking up well and responding to what the group needed. The only issue was that we didn't have the slides before which really would have helped. Handouts were useful..

Really useful - well paced, lots of helpful support

Lots of good content and I liked Jason started by asking what WE wanted to cover so he made sure this was central. I feel like I'm better prepared to complete the assignment.

The timing of this workshop could have been considered to link more to the coaching in modules 1-3 rather than after the mentoring

Good

Informative, interactive session. The coach was knowledgeable and delivered the session at a good pace, ensuring all had an opportunity to contribute.

The course content was strong, including a mix of theory, policy and practice. The delivery was incredibly information heavy. There were five breakout group sessions which offered some contrast to reading from PP slides. However, most of the day required participants to listen to information detailing techniques, statistics and theory. This was an unrealistic expectation given the volume of information. A discussion format or working groups dynamic would have been a better aid to learning.
